With every new year comes a time of reflection and declaration of change. Some decide to make an official “new year resolution” statement to stick to OR create a detailed and colorful vision board OR simply decide what they will do differently for the new year. Each experience pushes forth a lesson that let’s us know what to keep doing and what needs to be changed. 2020 put quite a bit of pressure on people’s lives across the world. It also forced so many to sit and reflect on the changes that we were all experiencing. We know that life will never be the same again. Will you? Will you be the same?
As time moves swiftly forward, we get to decide to hold on to “the old” ways of thinking or grasp firmly to “the new”. We learn from our past so that we can make better decisions for our future. There will always be the “tried and true” approaches to being successful, but if things are not working out (again and again), it is time to try something new. I know that this is kind of vague and may not apply to everything, but depending on what is occurring in your life, this concept still stands. What is working well, keep it; that is your “something old”. What isn’t, change it; that is your “something new”.

Don’t be afraid of proper change. After giving it some thought and analysis…Welcome it. Embrace it. It is a decision that you have to make for yourself and not be pressured in to doing.
Oh, and Happy New Year!
