If you’ve paid attention to the stock market in 2020…dude…I mean…WOW!!!!! It has been a year of humbling losses and opportunities for outstanding gains! The affects of the growing concerns due to COVID-19 was first seen reflected in the stock market during the month of March. (There have been a few more dips throughout 2020.) It was a rare moment that I had never really seen before, but then again I had made a decision in the last few years to start paying closer attention. In 2019, I decided to start REALLY educating myself more on the many investing vehicles; I still wasn’t FULLY ready for what 2020 brought forth…from what has been shared with me, most people weren’t.
2020 has forced so many people to consider investing in the stock market, as we have seen great growth percentages across several industries. While you learn about the stock market environment, it is important to keep watch of the established public companies and those that have decided to move from the private sector and become public. Initial Public Offering (IPO) is one of the many occurrences to keep track of as you weather the stock market’s tumultuous climate.
Here are a few IPOs of 2020 and 2021 to keep an eye on:
IPOs of 2020 >>>
Airbnb (NASDAQ: ABNB) - Airbnb, Inc. is an American vacation rental online marketplace company
DoorDash (NASDAQ: DASH) - DoorDash Inc. is an American on-demand prepared food delivery service

The lists above are just a small piece of the many IPOs of 2020 and future IPOs of 2021. Do as much research as you can, but I know that these are and will certainly be on my “watchlist”. Don’t overwhelm yourself with knowing every single company in and out, but be knowledgeable of where and when you invest your money. I hope you make sound investing decisions this year!
Happy Investing!
